Our Story

Berwyn Dennis, Founder of Albatross Fisheries, has been fishing for over 30 years. His experience and passion ensures high quality seafood every time. His daughter Kaylie has been getting more & more involved over the years supporting his business dream, to become Pembrokeshire’s leading fish merchant, supplying wholesale & our local community of fish lovers.

Based in the beautiful market town of Narberth in Pembrokeshire, Albatross Fisheries have been sourcing and supplying fresh rod & line caught seabass to local hotels & restaurants for many years. Due to the demand for fresh fish in Pembrokeshire they have recently branched out to supply a range of other quality fresh seafood, expanding the business.

Founder Berwyn Dennis certainly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to fish. His father was a Saundersfoot trawlerman for over 40 years and Berwyn himself has been fishing the Pembrokeshire coast for the past three decades. His passion for fish drives him on and his strong relationship with local fishermen ensures that only fish of the highest quality end up on your plate.In his spare time, Berwyn is an active member of Saundersfoot Bowling Club, winning dozens of competitions since he joined in the 1980’s. He lives with his long term partner Linzi & has two springer spaniels. He takes time to relax with them walking the beautiful Pembrokeshire woodlands & beaches.
